File Transfer Extranet We provide a convenient and secure method of file transfer to increase efficiency and to eliminate courier costs of our clients.

BlueAppleWorks Extranet assures privacy and security. Our clients will only see folders that they have explicitly been given access to.

BlueAppleWorks Extranet can also be accessed using any web browser that can access the internet and does not require the opening of additional ports or the installation of special software to use it.

BlueAppleWorks Extranet uses a completely different method of transferring files than FTP. Unlike FTP, which transfers files and passwords in clear text for anyone to see, BlueAppleWorks Extranet powered by ShareFile uses 128-bit SSL encryption to protect the privacy of passwords and files.

Files of any size may be uploaded, downloaded, sent, or stored on BlueAppleWorks Extranet.
All files on BlueAppleWorks Extranet are backed up daily and hosted with best-of-breed servers and facilities.

Initial meeting with the client and BlueAppleWorks at no charge to the client.

At the meeting, the client and BlueAppleWorks will define the project goals, budget, audience(s), competitive positions, legal matters and other issues. The meeting will also help to determine our client’s expectations. We will ask a lot of questions to gain an understanding of client’s company, products and services, client’s competition and overall marketing environment. A proposal outlining the scope of the services to be rendered will be provided before work is to begin. Proposals will cover in detail what services are to be provided and what the estimated costs of those services will be.

During the proposal stage, we will put a team together from our group of writers, editors, designers, project managers and photographers that are just right for your project. We are very fortunate to have a great group of extremely talented and experienced people to work with.

For larger projects, proposals are divided into three parts and billed for each part. The three parts consist of the design phase, the production phase and the delivery phase.

Depending on the size and type of work needed, projects will be billed hourly or as a set fee for the whole project. A contract is sometimes used instead of the proposal format. The client and designer will decide which to use at the initial meeting.

All time spent on billable services is logged with time-keeping software and is available at any point during the project for client review.

The client may provide finalized text and/or any finalized written material and may provide photographs and/or illustration for graphic design projects.

Artwork/illustrations/photographs that are used from stock images are chosen by the designer with client approval and charged to the client.

Communication between the client and designer can be by e-mail, phone, web and in person.

One main contact person should be in charge of or responsible for the financial and aesthetic final decisions of the project.
